The Porsche 911 50th anniversary edition was a limited run of only 1963 units worldwide to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 911’s unveiling in 1963. Each unit was available in one of three colors, Geyser grey, Graphite grey and Basalt Black. The 50th anniversary also came with the wider body from the Carrera 4, 20” Fuchs inspired wheels, darkened headlight surrounds and chrome accents over the engine lid cover. Moving to the interior each vehicle came with a 50th anniversary plaque and the individual number of the vehicle in the limited production run. Houndstooth was also an option to set the interior apart from any other 911 in the 991 range.

Mechanically the car was based off a Carrera S, Porsche torque vectoring was fitted as a standard item and offered a mechanical slip differential. Porsche active suspension management, sport chrono package and a sports exhaust system were all offered as standard equipment.

The vehicle we have on offer is a fantastic example with low ownership history and extremely low mileage. The instrument cluster shows 11 500Km and this is verified by the comprehensive service history with the agents. The vehicle will be subject to a service at Porsche Centre before the new owner takes delivery. To our knowledge this is one of only ten 50th Anniversary models ever brought into South-Africa.

As mentioned above it comes with most of the equipment as standard however our example has the very rare houndstooth interior. Bose sound, 18 way adjustable electric memory seats, Front and rear park distance control and much more.
