The Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 | The last of the proper Lamborghinis.

The Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 is a standout member of the prestigious Murcielago family. Produced from 2006 to 2010, the LP640 was a significant evolution of the original Murcielago. At the heart of the LP640 is a 6.5-liter V12 Bizzarrini engine that can be traced all the way back to the original supercar, the Lamborghini Miura. It also features an advanced all-wheel-drive system and a dynamically adjustable suspension. The aerodynamic design, including a redesigned front bumper and rear diffuser, enhances downforce and reduces drag.

Due to the short production period the Murcielago benefits from very low production numbers, it is estimated that 1619 Murcielago’s were produced in LP640 format. With around 20 coupes and roadster having arrived in South-Africa.

Our car on offer is a great example of the LP640 showing only 24 544Km on the odometer. Finished in Arancio atlas it was specified with optional wheels in gloss black, carbon fibre door entry sills, the glass engine cover and carbon fibre engine bay panels. It benefits from being serviced in December 2023 and will be serviced again before its new custodian takes delivery.
